Innovations in MSI Detection: Unmasking a New Testing Solution
Online
24 October, 2023
2:00 pm-3:00 pm (CEST)
Microsatellite instability (MSI) is an evolving biomarker for colorectal cancer (CRC) detection and treatment, with crucial diagnostic, prognostic, and predictive implications – to identify patients with Lynch syndrome, determine the prognosis of Stage II colon cancer patients and predict patient response to immunotherapy. Different approaches have been developed for MSI detection.
In this webinar, we will compare the different methods that are currently being used for MSI testing, and introduce a novel, one-step PCR melting curve analysis featuring rapid turnaround time and high sensitivity to determine MSI status, which shows high concordance rate with fragment analysis MSI.
