Our Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients or customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products or services. The role involves managing key accounts, fostering client satisfaction, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
• Understand clients' business needs and objectives.
• Act as the main point of contact between the client and the company.
Account Management:
• Manage and grow existing accounts by identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
• Develop account plans and strategies to achieve sales and revenue targets.
• Place and follow up the client’s purchase orders.
• Ensure timely and successful delivery of products or services according to client needs.
• Keep company’s platforms up to date.
Communication:
• Effectively communicate with clients to understand their feedback, concerns, and expectations.
• Relay client feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement.
Sales and Business Development:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts.
• Collaborate with the sales team to acquire new clients and expand the customer base.
• Plan marketing events and material.
• Speaking to KOLs and engage them with our product.
Problem Resolution:
• Address and resolve client issues promptly and effectively.
• Work closely with internal teams to resolve any challenges related to product or service delivery.
Reporting:
• Prepare and present regular reports on account status, sales forecasts, and overall performance.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in biology-related field.
• At least 3 years’ experience in account management, sales, or a related role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both clients and internal teams.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to develop and execute marketing activities and plan regional events to better commercialized our products in the market.
• Access to regional KOLs on the field and ability to communicate with them and involve them in our commercial activities.
• Strong negotiation skills to reach mutually beneficial agreements with clients.
• Ability to adapt to changing client needs and market conditions.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Flexibility to travel constantly.
• Preferably based in Chile or Argentina.
