About the job We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Manager to lead our sales efforts in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) regions. This individual will drive business growth through strategic partnerships, customer acquisition, and sales initiatives, focusing on oncology diagnostics solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the healthcare and diagnostics landscape in the MEA region, with a proven track record in business development and sales.
Key Responsibilities • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the oncology diagnostics sector across the MEA regions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, laboratories, hospitals, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Create strategic partnerships with distributors, healthcare systems, and regulatory bodies.
• Understand and anticipate market trends, customer needs, and regulatory requirements specific to the MEA regions.
• Develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve growth targets for oncology diagnostic products and services in the MEA region.
• Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring the delivery of high-quality customer service.
• Monitor sales performance metrics, providing regular reporting and forecasts.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to optimize sales efforts.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks in the oncology diagnostics sector.
• Develop and execute strategies for market penetration, including expansion into new territories within the MEA regions.
• Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent the company and gather market intelligence.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and healthcare guidelines in the MEA regions.
• Work closely with regulatory teams to facilitate product approvals and registrations in target countries.
Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (Biology, biotechnology, etc.), Healthcare, Business, or a related field (Master’s or MBA is a plus).
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales and business development in the healthcare or diagnostics industry, ideally within oncology.
• Strong knowledge of the MEA healthcare and diagnostics market, including key players, regulatory environment, and distribution channels.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in emerging markets.
• Direct sales and distributor management experience is a must.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel frequently within the MEA region.
