About the job As a Business Manager in Amoy Diagnostics, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating various business functions to drive the company’s success, focusing primarily on Australia, Taiwan, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Macau and neighbouring countries as required. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, research and development, regulatory affairs, and finance, to achieve the company’s strategic goals and objectives. The Business Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth and ensuring that it remains compliant with industry regulations. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, business acumen, and industry-specific knowledge to succeed in a highly competitive and regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement long-term business strategies, including market expansion, product development, and revenue growth plans.
• Market Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in the pharmaceutical industry. Use market insights to make informed business decisions.
• Sales and Marketing: Coordinate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies. Monitor sales performance, track market share, and identify opportunities for growth.
• Product Portfolio Management: Oversee the product lifecycle, including new product launches, product discontinuations, and portfolio optimization.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all products and operations comply with relevant local and international regulations and quality standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration between different departments, including research and development, manufacturing, quality assurance, and distribution, to streamline processes and achieve operational efficiency.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to protect the company’s reputation and financial stability.
• Supplier and Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure a reliable supply chain for Company’s products and materials.
• Market Expansion: Explore opportunities for expanding the company’s market presence, which may include entering new geographic regions or forming strategic partnerships.
• Reporting: Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, progress towards strategic goals, and areas needing attention.

Qualifications: • Strong proficiency in English and knowledge of an Asian language is a plus.
• Ideally based in any major city in Australia, Taiwan or Vietnam. Candidates based in Hong Kong or Macau are also welcome to apply.
• Bachelor's degree in biology, oncology diagnostics, or a related field. A master's degree is often preferred.
• At least 5+ years of experience in oncology diagnostics industry roles, with a proven track record of leadership and business management.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations, compliance, and quality standards.
• In-depth knowledge of the precision medicine market and familiarity with local regulations for companion diagnostics (CDx).
• Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, including Excel and industry-specific software.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and constantly evolving industry.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Experience of registering diagnostic products in Taiwan, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Macau and Australia would be highly desirable
